We’ve partnered with GoCardless, an online tool which makes it easy for you to pay your membership using Direct Debit.

Who Is GoCardless?

GoCardless is an approved, accredited and authorised Direct Debit provider, who works with over 30,000 organisations in the UK, Europe and Australia, including Sage, Xero, TripAdvisor and Salesforce.

With Direct Debit, your payments are protected. The GoCardless Direct Debit Guarantee means you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund for any payment taken in error, so you’re fully protected.

Our Preferred Payment Method

We’ve introduced Direct Debit because it’s an easier way for you to pay and it also keeps our costs down, which in turn means we don’t need to charge payment fees. There are no transaction fees and payments are automatic so your invoices will be paid on time and your account won’t become overdue.

You only need to set up payment once – Complete an online form and, unlike with a bank transfer, you won’t have to remember to pay next time. Which means no phone calls or emails from us following up unpaid invoices.

You won’t ever need to update payment details – Unless you change bank accounts, you won’t have to worry about updating your payment details either (unlike, if your card expires, or is lost or stolen).

Paying through GoCardless gives you certainty – Their Direct Debit Guarantee gives you peace of mind, and confidence in the security of the transaction.

Ready To Get Going?

Please contact the Happiness Team to activate GoCardless on your account. Once this has been activated all you need to do is set up a GoCardless account online and as soon as payment is due, we’ll collect it straight from your pre-agreed bank account.

1. Log in to your account on our Member’s Portal
2. Navigate to Settings then head to the Billing section
3. Select Direct Debit payments then click Set Up Direct Debit
4. Follow the GoCardless prompts to connect your bank account

Once this is done you’ll be sent a copy of your agreement from GoCardless within 24 hours. This will include your agreement specifics along with details on how to make changes if needed.
