Increase productivity, learn to meditate and make a cocktail – you’re welcome
ATTEND
Physical distancing is a top priority however this doesn’t mean you can’t attend events.
We’ve compiled a list of fun, interesting and exciting events you can attend in the comfort of your own home!
One particular event you won’t want to miss out on is CreativeCubes.Co’s new fortnightly series, Real Conversations hosted by our very own Shardae Mazzeo.
This weeks conversation is centred around having the courage to transition with awareness, with leadership coaches Karen Williams and Nardia Joy as we explore a thought-provoking discussion on the notions of redefining self, mindset, personal growth, and career through self-awareness.

Nailing that working from home life can be tricky with the lines between bedroom and office blurred, and our productivity can begin to slip.
The cornerstone to surviving and thriving while working from home? A good night’s sleep and taking adequate breaks. Work in 25 minute intervals based on the Pomodoro technique, the timer involves working in bursts of 25 minutes. Focus for a short time, and when the bell rings – move that body!!
WATCH
Australian musicians (along with pretty much everyone else) can’t leave their houses right now. But the show must go on, so if they can’t leave their lounge rooms then that’s where they’ll have to perform from.
Riverboats Music Festival (an annual music festival held in Echuca-Moama) has launched the Lounge Room Sessions to give musicians unable to hold gigs an opportunity to still perform and earn money. The Lounge Room Sessions are pretty simple: at 8pm on selected evenings, an Australian musician hops onto the Lounge Room Sessions Facebook page for a livestreamed 30-minute set direct from their lounge room.
These live videos also include a link that allows the at home, self-isolating audience to donate to that artist if they’re able (with 100 per cent of donated funds going to the artist).
The livestreamed gigs currently have around a month of performances lined up so you’ve got no reason to be bored at home.
Some artists featured on that line up include Tim Rogers, Benny Walker, Henry Wagons, Mama Kin, Deborah Conway and Willie Zygier, Harry James Angus and Melody Pool.
Tune in to hear someone you love, or to discover something fresh.
NOURISH
Friday arvo rolls around, and you’re feeling a little lonely? It’s time for Digital Knock Offs!
Knock Offs are an Aussie tradition, and we won’t let social distancing take that from us.
One of our beverage suppliers, Remedy Kombucha has shared a fun, easy and delicious Moscow Mule recipe perfect for dialling into your Digital Knock Offs with the team.
All you need is:
150ml ginger kombucha (we recommend Remedy Kombucha obviously)
1/2 tbs fresh lime juice
30ml of sparking water (or 1 shot of vodka if you’re looking for an alcoholic version)
Ice
Then:
Fill a copper mug with ice.
Pour in the vodka and top it off with kombucha.
Add a generous squeeze of lime.
Garnish with a little wheel of lime.
Voila, there you have it. Your new (virtual) happy hour staple.
