We’re growing mo’s for our bro’s this Movember
Supporting Men’s health throughout November
Men’s health is in trouble. All around the world, fathers, brothers and friends face a health crisis that isn’t being talked about. Men are dying too young, before their time and for no good reason.
Established in 2003, Movember has created a men’s health movement of over 5 million supporters across the world. Through the moustaches grown and the conversations generated, they have helped fund 1,200 innovative men’s health projects across more than 20 countries focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
Now in its 16th year in the Australia, Movember encourages millions of men around the world to embrace the moustache in all its glorious forms. The itchy one, the patchy one or even the lopsided one - they all help fight prostate cancer, testicular cancer and male suicide.
To date, through moustaches grown, connections created, and conversations generated, Movember has proudly welcomed over six million supporters and helped fund 1,250 innovative men’s health projects across 20 countries. But there is still plenty more to be done.
In Australia, the stats are shocking. This year, 3,300 men will die of prostate cancer, while more than 200,000 are living with the disease. Six men a day take their own lives and three out of four suicides are by men. Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young men.
CreativeCubes.Co will be proudly dedicating the month of November to raising funds and awareness of men’s health - in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
Join us on the 22nd of November in Hawthorn and the 29th November in Richmond as we come together over an afternoon of beer, pizza and prizes for the most legendhairy mo! We are accepting cash and online donations which will go directly to Movember. Our donation page is live so head to mobro.co/creativecubesco to help us make a difference for men’s health - in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
Hair nets are the new hats
Our evening in the FareShare kitchen
At the end of October the CreativeCubes.Co team put on the aprons and donned our finest hair nets as we head over to the Fare Share kitchen in Abbotsford.
FareShare is an NFP that rescues food that would otherwise go to waste and cooks it into free nutritious meals for people in need. Around four million Australians experience food insecurity each year while food waste costs our economy an estimated $20 billion.
In Melbourne, with the help of 1000 regular volunteers, FareShare cooks more than 6,000 free meals a day for charities such as soup vans, homeless shelters, women’s refuges and community food banks.
The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all as we bonded over quiche and sausage rolls. We left with our cheeks sore from laughing so much and bellies full from the delicious supper we enjoyed following our shift.
FareShare offers a unique and meaningful corporate volunteering experience for businesses and other organisations that we recommend members check out.

A new Rebel Monk is coming
Rebel Monk speaks to two seemingly contradictory characteristics of human nature.
Restlessness and serenity. Perpetual motion and unyielding stillness. The yin and yang of modern life.
The trick, of course, is to experience them in balance; to fuel one by practicing the other.
If you’re wondering who the Rebel Monk is, it’s you. The wake-up-early, dance-til-dawn, work-til-you-drop rebel that burns it at both ends, eight days a week. But it’s the monk in you, seeking quietness and contemplation, that keeps you from burning out and fading away.
We will be closing Rebel Monk from the 6th to the 11th of November as we feng shui the studio and perfect our downward dogs and treeposes to bring you better classes, better times with a fresher look. Stay tuned by following @rebelmonk on Instagram for exciting updates!

Dave
Hey! I'm Dave, the Happiness Team Lead in South Melbourne.
Being born and raised in Melbourne I do go a bit sports mad over the AFL. (Melbourne Demons are the best of course), but a massive passion of mine is netball. I have actually represented Australia in Men's netball in the past and have gotten to travel the world to do so!
I also LOVE my food... any suggestions of new places to eat or some great recipes I am all ears…
Most importantly, I am excited to help you in anyway I can, so don't hesitate to yell out if you need anything or just want to chat. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
Enrico

You'll find me floating around all of the CreativeCubes.Co sites so please don't be a stranger as im always up for a chat!
I'm an avid sports enthusiast and love a rant about all things soccer and NBA related! A big fan of music as well, so im open to a few suggestions about different artists and genres! I sing a little so you may hear a little tune out of me here and there…
Super excited to be a part of the dynamic team at CreativeCubes.Co and I look forward to having a chill drink and a chat with you all!
Colin
Hi! My name’s Colin. I am your new Event Manager with MicDrop.
You will most likely see me around the event spaces across each location as we expand.
I've spent the recent 2 years travelling and working throughout Asia. I'm a huge animal lover and have spent 8 months volunteering at an animal shelter in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
In my downtime I will usually be playing video games and spending time outdoors hiking and exploring Melbourne.
Andy
Friends call me AC. I have started up as cafe lead for Timber + Greens.
You may have seen me behind the coffee machine here in Hawthorn. I also operate a coffee truck called Flatbed Coffee on the weekends where we do parties and events all around Melbourne. I love a good coffee so come on down for a chat and I’ll brew one up for you too.
CreativeCubes.Co has made a very warm welcome, I love getting to know our ‘regulars’ and their usual orders. I’ll do my best to remember everyone’s names. My goal is to fuel Cube Members with the best food and beverages. We can’t have you coworking on an empty tank!
